Who this is for, and who should look elsewhere
This is for you if
- You run a business website or servers, and nobody owns certificates, backups or attacks until something breaks.
- A client's security checklist asks where your backups are, who renews your certificates and what protects your site.
- You'd rather one team you can call looked after all three, on one GST invoice.
This is not for you if
- Your site is on our managed hosting → free SSL and daily backups are already included; add only what's missing
- You need a security audit, penetration test or certification → that's specialist work; ask us for a referral
- You need email security: phishing filters, multi-factor sign-in → start with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365

| If you run | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A "Not secure" warning, or a client asking for a certificate | SSL certificates | Free on sites we host; paid when a named issuer is needed |
| Fear of ransomware, a failed disk or a deleted folder | Cloud backup | An off-site copy, restored when you need it |
| Bots scraping prices, fake sign-ups or login floods | Website protection | Stops them before they reach your server |

Questions people ask
What does managed security include for a small business?
The basics that stop most trouble: a valid SSL certificate, backups kept off-site and tested, a filter against bots and web attacks, and servers kept patched. We look after all four, and tell you plainly what's left to you — your website's own software and passwords.
Do I need all three?
Not always. Every business site needs SSL, which is free on sites we host. Every business needs a backup it has tested. A filter is worth it once bots, scrapers or attacks are costing you sales or server time.
Is a free SSL certificate enough?
For most websites, yes: free Let's Encrypt certificates encrypt exactly as well as paid ones. Pay when a client asks for a named issuer or your company's name in the certificate. SSL certificates
Isn't my host's backup enough?
Only if it's off-site, kept long enough and tested. Backups on the same server, or in the same data centre with no restore ever tried, fail when you need them most. Cloud backup
What is DDoS protection, and do I need it?
It keeps your site up when someone floods it with traffic. A filter stops floods of web requests, bots and web attacks before they reach your server. If your site earns money, it's worth it before the first attack, not after. Website protection
Does the DPDP Act require this?
The Act requires businesses that handle personal data to take reasonable security safeguards against a breach. The DPDP Rules 2025 spell them out — among them encryption, access control, logs kept for a year, and backups so processing can continue after a breach — from May 2027. SSL, tested backups and a filter cover much of that for a website.
Is my data kept in India?
Backups are stored in Acronis's Mumbai data centre. Sites and servers we host run in Mumbai.
Can I buy these if you don't host my site?
Yes. Certificates, backups and the website filter all work wherever your site or servers are.
