Off-site, encrypted backups of your servers, virtual machines and computers — run by us, or by you — with restores tested before you need them. Priced per GB, from ₹15/GB/month.

- Encrypted before it leaves your machine
- Stored off-site, away from the data it protects
- Whole machines or single files, restored when you need them
- Alerts when a backup fails
₹15/GB/month if you run it; ₹20/GB/month with us running it and testing restores.

Who cloud backup is for, and who should look elsewhere
This is for you if
- Your only backup is on the same server, or in the same office, as the data it protects.
- A ransomware attack or a failed disk would stop your business, and nobody has tested a restore.
- You want backups off-site, on a GST invoice, with people you can call when you need something back.
This is not for you if
- Your site is on our managed VPS or managed dedicated server → daily off-server backups are already included; add this only for longer retention
- You want a shared drive for everyday files → that's storage, not backup: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- You only need mailboxes backed up → Yes — Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mailboxes, OneDrive and Drive, quoted per user
What we back up, and how
Servers and computers
Windows and Linux servers, VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines, and Windows and Mac computers — in your office, with us, or in another cloud.
Whole machine or single file
Restore one file, a folder, or a whole machine — to new hardware if the old one died, or started as a virtual machine while you fix it.
Scheduled and incremental
After the first full backup, only what changed is sent, on the schedule you choose: daily, or as often as every 10 minutes for busy servers.
Encrypted end to end
AES-256 encryption, protected by a password only you hold. Backups stay encrypted in transit and in storage.
Ransomware protection
The agent stops programs that behave like ransomware, and deleted cloud backups are held for 14 days, so an attacker can't wipe them.
Retention you choose
30-day retention as standard; keep backups longer if your business or auditors need it.
Tested restores
On the managed plan, we restore a sample every quarter and tell you it worked.
Alerts that reach someone
A failed backup raises an alert — to you on the self-managed plan, to our engineers on the managed plan.
How it works
- 1PlanWhat to back up, how often, how long to keep it, and the monthly cost, agreed before anything is installed.
- 2Set upThe backup agent installed, the first full backup taken, and your encryption password kept by you.
- 3TestA first test restore, so you know the backups work before you need them.
- 4RunBackups on schedule, alerts on failure, and restores when you ask — by us on the managed plan.
How much does cloud backup cost in India?
₹15 per GB a month if you run it, or ₹20 with us running it, exclusive of GST. You pay for the storage your backups take up, after compression. Backing up 200 GB costs ₹3,000 a month self-managed, or ₹4,000 managed.
All prices on one pageWhat moves the price
- How much dataYou pay per GB of backup storage, so the size of what you protect sets most of the price.
- How long you keep itLonger retention keeps more versions, which takes more storage. Deleted backups are held for 14 days as ransomware protection, and count towards storage in that time.
- Who runs itManaged adds set-up, monitoring, restores on request and regular test restores.

Backups you can restore
- A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a backup. On the managed plan we test restores, and tell you when we have.
- The 3-2-1 rule, as the US cybersecurity agency CISA puts it: three copies of important files, on two kinds of storage, one of them off-site. Cloud backup is the off-site copy.
- Encrypted before it leaves your machine, with a password only you hold.
- The same engineers who have run our customers' servers since 2006 — one team, one phone number when you need something back.
Backups kept in India
Backups are stored in Acronis's Mumbai data centre, so your data stays in India — which matters when clients ask where their data lives. Priced in rupees on a GST invoice, with support in English and Hindi, in IST.
Questions people ask
What is cloud backup?
Copies of your servers and files, sent over the internet to storage in another place, so a fire, theft, failed disk or ransomware attack at your end doesn't take your data with it.
How much does cloud backup cost in India?
At Chandnas, ₹15/GB/month if you run it, or ₹20/GB/month with us running it, exclusive of GST. 200 GB comes to ₹3,000 or ₹4,000 a month.
Isn't RAID or a server snapshot enough?
No. RAID keeps a server running when a disk fails, but copies a deletion or ransomware straight to every disk. A snapshot usually sits on the same system as the data. A backup is a separate copy, somewhere else, that you can restore from.
Can backups survive ransomware?
That's what they're for. Backups are stored away from your network, deleted cloud backups are held for 14 days so an attacker can't wipe them, and you restore from a version taken before the attack.
How fast can I get my data back?
A single file in minutes. A whole server depends on its size and your connection. On the managed plan, we restore within 4 working hours.
Self-managed or managed?
Self-managed suits a team with someone who will watch the alerts and test restores. Managed is for everyone else: we set it up, watch it, test restores and do the restore when you need one.
Can you back up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Yes — Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mailboxes, OneDrive and Drive, quoted per user. Microsoft and Google keep your mail running, but restoring what a user deleted months ago is your job, not theirs.
What if I lose the encryption password?
Then nobody can read the backups — including us, and including Acronis, which doesn't store it. That's the point of encryption. Keep the password somewhere safe outside the systems you back up.
