Who a dedicated server is for, and who should look elsewhere
This is for you if
- You've outgrown a VPS: you need more than 6 vCPU or 32 GB, or a database that needs disks no one else touches.
- You want hardware of your own — no neighbours sharing CPU, memory or disk — for predictable performance or a client's compliance checklist.
- You run many websites, an ERP, a large database, virtual machines, or Tally for a large team.
This is not for you if
- One or two sites, or anything that fits in 8 GB of memory → managed Linux VPS
- Your load swings by the hour, or you want managed databases and autoscaling → AWS managed services
- You need GPUs for AI or rendering → GPU cloud

How much does a dedicated server cost in India?
At Chandnas, a self-managed dedicated server in Mumbai costs ₹11,299 to ₹31,299 a month; fully managed, ₹19,999 to ₹23,699; heavy-duty machines for virtualisation and AI start at ₹54,999/month. All exclude GST and stay the same at renewal.
All prices on one pageWhat moves the price
- Managed or self-managedFully managed costs more for the same hardware: it includes the patching, monitoring, backups and support a server administrator would do.
- Cores and CPU generationMore cores help virtual machines and busy databases; newer CPUs do more per core.
- Memory and storageMost slow servers are short of memory, not CPU. Size for your database first.

- First response target: 10 minutes if a server is down, from an engineer.
- Hardware faults handled 24/7. Most part replacements are done within 4 hours; some depend on the data centre.
- On fully managed plans we run the server as if it were ours: patches, monitoring, backups and restores.
What you get on every dedicated server
Hardware of your own
No neighbours: every core, every gigabyte of memory and every disk is yours.
NVMe storage in RAID
Fast solid-state disks, two per server, for databases that read and write all day.
ECC memory
Error-correcting memory, standard on server hardware, so one flipped bit doesn't corrupt your data.
1 Gbps port, 25 TB a month
Enough transfer for high-traffic sites and media on the Mumbai range.
Heavy-duty options
High-core EPYC and Xeon machines with hot-swap drives and dual power supplies.
Mumbai, USA and Europe
India for Indian users and data; Dallas, Chicago or Europe when your users are abroad.
Indian infrastructure, Indian invoice
Indian servers run in the Yotta NM1 data centre, Navi Mumbai. Your data stays in India — which matters for the DPDP Act and for clients who ask where it lives — and visitors across India get a faster response than from Singapore or Europe.
- Priced in INR, exclusive of 18% GST · GST invoice from a Jaipur-registered business
- Support in English and Hindi, in IST
- Certifications held by the facility and operator: SOC 2 Type II · PCI DSS · SSAE 16

Moving from a VPS, another provider's dedicated server, or AWS? Migration is free — planned, tested on the new server, and switched at a quiet hour. How migration works
Questions people ask
What is a dedicated server?
A physical server used only by you: all its CPU cores, memory and disks are yours, with no other customers on the machine. It's the step up from a VPS when you need guaranteed performance, or more resources than a VPS offers.
Is a bare metal server the same as a dedicated server?
In practice, yes. "Bare metal" stresses that there's no virtualisation layer between you and the hardware; "dedicated" stresses that no one else uses it. Every server on this page is both.
When should I move from a VPS to a dedicated server?
When you need more than our largest VPS plans — 6 vCPU and 32 GB — or when a busy database needs disks no one else touches. Moving is a free migration. VPS vs cloud vs dedicated
What does a fully managed dedicated server include?
Everything a server administrator would do: hardening, operating-system and security updates, monitoring and response, daily backups and restores, control panel setup, and support by phone and WhatsApp. On self-managed plans we look after the hardware and network, and the rest is yours. Managed dedicated server
What happens if hardware fails?
We replace the failed part — a disk, a power supply, a memory module — and, on fully managed plans, restore service from backup if anything was lost. Most part replacements are done within 4 hours; some depend on the data centre. Support and SLA
Can I get a dedicated server in the USA or Europe?
Yes: Dallas and Chicago in the USA, and a data centre in Europe, priced in US dollars and euros. They suit businesses whose users are mainly abroad.
Do dedicated servers come with a control panel?
cPanel or Plesk can be installed on any server (price on request). On fully managed plans we set it up and keep it updated; if you run one or two applications, you may not need a panel at all.
Is my data stored in India?
On our Indian servers, yes — in the Yotta NM1 data centre, Navi Mumbai. Servers in the USA and Europe keep data in those regions.
What does 25 TB of transfer mean?
The data your server can send out over its 1 Gbps port each month on the Mumbai range — enough for most high-traffic sites and media. We'll warn you well before you reach it.
