What is the best business email for a small business in India?
It depends on how your team works. Google Workspace suits teams that collaborate in the browser; Microsoft 365 suits teams that live in Excel and Outlook, or whose data must stay in India; Rediffmail Pro suits businesses with many staff who only need email, at the lowest cost. Is Rediffmail cheaper than Google Workspace?
Much cheaper: ₹270/user/year for a 1 GB Rediffmail mailbox against ₹3,240/user/year for Google Workspace Business Starter. But Rediffmail's standard plans are email only — no documents, shared drives or Gemini — and storage is 1 GB or 10 GB per user.
Why not use free Gmail for the business?
Addresses like yourcompany@gmail.com look less professional, and the business doesn't control them: when someone leaves, the mailbox leaves with them. With business email on your own domain, the company owns every mailbox, can recover it, and gets support when something breaks.
Do I need my own domain?
Yes. Business email runs on a domain you own — yourcompany.com or yourcompany.in. If you have a website, you already have one; we set up the email on it without touching the site.
Can some staff use Rediffmail and others Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Yes — Rediff supports hybrid setups, so everyone keeps an address on the same domain. It's a common way to give managers Office or Docs while keeping everyone else on low-cost email.
Is my business email stored in India?
With Rediffmail, yes. With Microsoft 365, yes, for accounts set up in India. Google Workspace stores data in Google's data centres worldwide, and its Business editions can't choose India.
Do I get a GST invoice?
Yes. Every option is invoiced in rupees by Chandnas IT Consultants, Jaipur, with 18% GST shown separately, so a GST-registered business can claim input tax credit. Email appears on the same invoice as anything else you buy from us.
How long does it take to move our email?

What happens to someone's email when they leave?
It stays with the company. The account is suspended, the mail is kept or passed to their replacement, and the licence is reused for the next person. We do this for you on request.
