Who this is for
For you if: Your customers or users are mainly in Europe or the UK; a European client wants their data stored in Europe; you're an Indian SaaS company, agency or exporter that needs speed there, and you want bare metal with root access from a company you can call in India.
Not for you if
- Your users are in India, or their data must stay in India → Mumbai servers
- Your users are mainly in North America → USA servers
- You want the server run for you → a managed dedicated server in Mumbai, or ask us about management in Europe
- You need GDPR advice → a data-protection lawyer; where the server sits is one part of compliance, not all of it

Reading the plan table
- Where the servers are
- In Amsterdam, one of Europe's main internet hubs, with short routes to users across Western Europe and the UK.
- Cores / threads
- Physical cores and the threads they run. A shop or a SaaS app with steady traffic runs well on the entry servers; the heavy-duty ones are for virtual machines, containers and large databases.
- Memory and storage
- ECC memory and two NVMe drives in RAID, so a failed drive doesn't take the server down. Size the memory to your database: busy sites run out of memory before CPU.
- Europe and India
- A European server is quick for users in Europe and slow to reach from India. If your customers are in both, run a server in each rather than one in between.
- Data in the EU
- The data is stored inside the EU, which many European clients ask for. It doesn't give your company an EU presence: an Indian business selling to people in the EU usually still needs a GDPR representative there, and the rest of GDPR still applies.

In Europe, supported from India
The server is in Europe; the people are in Jaipur. Central European time is 3½ to 4½ hours behind India, so a European morning is our afternoon — the working days overlap. You deal with one company, in English or Hindi, by WhatsApp, phone and email, and the server is on the same invoice as your other Chandnas services.
Moving a server to Europe, or away from a European host? Migration is free — copied and tested on the new server, then switched at a quiet hour for your users. How migration works
Questions people ask
Why host in Europe if my business is in India?
Because your customers are there. A server in Europe answers European users far faster than one in Mumbai, and some European clients will only sign if their data is stored in Europe.
Does a server in Europe make me GDPR compliant?
Not on its own. GDPR doesn't require data to be stored in the EU. It sets rules on how personal data is collected, protected and sent out of the EU, and it applies to an Indian company selling to people in the EU wherever its servers are. A European server keeps the data stored in Europe; consent, contracts and security are still yours to arrange, ideally with a data-protection lawyer.
Can my team in India work on the data?
Usually, yes. If it's your own customers' data, your staff reaching it from India is not a transfer under the EU regulators' guidance. If you hold it for a European client, reaching it from India is a transfer: India has no EU adequacy decision, so clients usually cover it with the EU's standard contractual clauses. Your lawyer can confirm which case you're in.
How am I billed for a European server?
Prices are in euros. You're invoiced in rupees at the exchange rate on the invoice date, plus 5% for currency conversion, with GST, on the same invoice as your other Chandnas services.
Are these servers managed?
They're self-managed: you get root access, and we look after the hardware and network. If you'd like patching, monitoring and backups done for you, ask — management is quoted — or use a managed dedicated server in Mumbai.
How long does a European server take to set up?
48–72 hours after payment, with root access sent to you when it's ready. If you're moving from another host, we plan the migration alongside.
What happens if hardware fails?
We replace the failed part — a disk, a power supply, a memory module — and tell you when it's done. Most part replacements are done within 4 hours; some depend on the data centre. Support and SLA
