Refund and cancellation policy
This page applies from the date above.
In short
- You can cancel any service by telling us in writing at least 30 days before the end of the billing period. It runs to the end of that period.
- New VPS plans have a 7-day money-back guarantee.
- Email licences and SSL certificates follow the vendor's rules, which limit cancellations after purchase.
- A billing period that has already started isn't refunded unless this policy says so.
- Refunds go back to the way you paid, with a GST credit note.
1.Cancelling a service
- Tell us by email or WhatsApp, from the contact on your account, at least 30 days before the end of the current billing period. We confirm the cancellation in writing.
- The service keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for, and then stops. It won't renew.
- Your data stays available for 30 days after the service ends, so you can take a copy, and is then deleted — apart from records the law requires us to keep. See our backup policy.
- Email licences follow the vendor's own rules on when users can be removed — see section 3.
- We can end a service with the same notice, or at once for a serious breach of our terms or acceptable use policy.
2.Servers, VPS and cloud
New VPS plans can be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of the first invoice. After that, and for dedicated servers, GPU servers and Kubernetes, a billing period that has started isn't refunded; the service ends at the end of it.
3.Business email licences
For email licences, the vendor's own rules decide what can be cancelled:
- Google Workspace, annual plan: you can add users at any time, but can't remove them until the plan renews. Flexible plan: add or remove users at any time.
- Microsoft 365, annual term: seats can be reduced only within 7 days of buying or renewing. Monthly term: cancel at the end of any month.
- Rediffmail: licences are paid a year in advance and aren't refunded.
4.SSL certificates
A certificate can be refunded within 30 days of issue if it has a technical problem, where the certificate authority allows it.
5.Managed services, migrations and projects
Monthly management fees aren't refunded for a month that has started. Migrations and projects paid in advance are refunded in proportion to the work not yet done.
Usage billed directly to you by AWS, Microsoft or another vendor is refunded, if at all, under that vendor's own policy.
6.How to ask for a refund
WhatsApp, call or email us with the invoice number and the reason. We reply within 1 working day.
Approved refunds go back to the account or card you paid from within 7 working days, with a GST credit note for the refunded amount.
